With over 200 communities developed and constructed over the last 2 decades, this homebuilder provides each home buyer with a product that is built to the highest quality with a keen eye for detail.Job DescriptionThe Purchasing Coordinator will be responsible for collaborating with construction personnel to ensure Purchase Orders are accurate and that complete start packages are deliver on time. In addition, the Purchasing Coordinator will be responsible for the following:Produce complete start packages for new home construction projectsPrepare variance purchase orders along with extra work orders for constructionAnalyze, adjust, and correct purchase orders for payment in a timely fashionMaintain preferred supplier list for each community in the area of responsibilityCollaborate with Sales & Design Center to make sure start package is accurate and complete prior to the home beginning constructionAccurately enter all options under Change Orders after start of constructionEfficiently order appliances, materials, and other supplies as requested by Sales and/or ConstructionMPI does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, national origin, age, disability, veteran status, marital status, or based on an individual's status in any group or class protected by applicable federal, state or local law.
