  Manage a team of buyers towards proper inventory levels and reduction of backorders to end goal of properly servicing our customer base

  Lead team through everyday activities, developing skills to drive them to reach their full potential

  Set goals and objectives, conduct reviews and develop growth plans for buyers.

  Develop and manage metrics and KPI's for buyers

  Manage assigned product categories

  Work with sales to determine forecast by major product groups. Work with Supply Chain to manage monthly SIOP meetings with sales and buyers
• 
  
  Manage supply and demand forecast by product group
• 
  
  Managing and tracking Supplier Performances to track performances in Supplier Score Card
• 
  
  Work with supply base to define capacity planning and prioritize purchase order production

• 
  
  Communicate supply lead time changes to buyers, sales, customer service
• 
  
  Work with sales to develop inventory reduction strategies on slow-moving inventories
• 
  
  Procurement BPL for Microsoft AX
