Job Description

Inventory Flow Optimization: Perform comprehensive assessments to enhance the movement of inventory. This encompasses forecasting accurate demand, establishing suitable reorder points, expediting or postponing orders as needed, initiating purchase orders, and ensuring the efficient receipt of goods.

Vendor Partnership and Negotiation: Cultivate strategic alliances with suppliers to create robust production strategies that guarantee punctual product deliveries. Efficiently bargain terms, agreements, and pricing with suppliers to secure advantageous conditions for the organization. Evaluate manufacturing capacity to gauge the impact of introducing new items on existing production procedures.

Enhanced Supply Chain Management: Supervise complete supply chain operations for diverse product lines, guaranteeing consistent availability across our network of warehouses. Work closely with global suppliers, emphasizing innovation, performance evaluation, order processing, and seamless inventory movement.

Lifecycle Management of Orders: Exercise meticulous attention to detail while overseeing the full order process, from procurement and production to logistics, payment, and delivery to our distribution centers located throughout the United States.

Supplier Performance Assessment: Implement rigorous business methodologies and assess supplier performance. Continuously explore fresh international sourcing prospects that align with our strategic objectives.

Compliance and Financial Operations: Assure adherence to all pertinent public legal requisites and import/export regulations. Monitor supplier invoicing activities and collaborate closely with the accounting department to facilitate precise and punctual payment processes.

Supplementary Responsibilities: Undertake any extra duties necessary to contribute to the overall triumph of the procurement function.

The Successful Applicant

  • Preferred qualification includes a minimum of a Bachelor's degree.
  • Candidates must possess a minimum of five years of progressive experience in related domains like product management, supply chain management, business strategy, finance, or another field with a quantitative focus.
