Job Description

Key responsibilities of this Quality Assurance Engineer role include:

  • Program Enhancement: Driving improvements to the quality program through audits, corrective actions, and supplier management.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Ensuring strict adherence to industry regulations, including ASME and 10CFR.
  • Technical Expertise: Providing technical guidance and support related to quality assurance.
  • Priority Management: Establishing and managing work priorities for the quality department.
  • Documentation and Training: Overseeing documentation control and employee training programs.
  • Cost Reduction: Implementing initiatives to reduce costs associated with discrepant materials and warranties.

The Successful Applicant

A successful candidate will have:

  • Leadership: Proactive ability to drive continuous improvement via audits and corrective actions.
  • Communication: Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Supplier Management: Experience in managing supplier relationships.
  • Management Skills: Proven ability to handle documentation, training, and cost reduction.
  • BS in Engineering.
  • 2-5 years work experience of quality control inspection or quality program implementation
