The position will support all quality assurance inspection work necessary for the required construction phase services of this 12- to 14-month work order.

Description
Signature and compliance with all non-disclosure and confidentiality agreements*Review and thoroughly familiarizes with the contract between client and AG|CM, especially as it relatesto the essential functions of this position. Adheres to the contract between client and AG|CM
*Observes construction means, methods, techniques and sequences concentrating on defect preventionand protection of new and existing work. Advises on but does not control nor direct contractors' means,methods, techniques and sequences
*Monitors the materials, equipment and assemblies specified for installation; workmanship; testing andspecial inspection procedures by others; and contractors' execution of corrective actions, forconformance to the construction documents
*Reviews quality assurance work for technical accuracy and completeness, and provides technical guidance on plans, specifications, and applicable code interpretation. General Construction Phase Services (CPS) also include reviewing contractor schedules for conformance with sound construction methodology, sequencing, and contract constraint compliance
*Provide review and documentation of principal construction features, requirements, plans, specifications, submittals, and shop drawings in terms of field construction conditions, and for contract compliance. Requirements include situational awareness of contractor project activities, planned work, and necessary government actions to prevent government caused delays to construction progress. Required services also include review of proposed change(s) in scopes of work and preparation of information to USACE's negotiation team for adjustments to project requirements, cost and duration
*Provide inspection of work in place, and review of the construction contractor's submittals, to provide an opinion or recommendation to the appropriate government employee(s) as to whether work is in full compliance with the contract plans and specifications. This will be included in the daily report of surveillance activities in the USACE Resident Management System (RMS
The Successful Applicant
*Bachelor of Science in Engineering and/or Architecture
*Construction Quality Management (CQM) training and/or other formal inspection training and/or certification is desirable
*Confined Space Entry training desirable
