They focus on producing complex, high-tolerance components with an emphasis on quality, compliance, and process control, supported by a robust ERP system and certified quality management standards.With a mid-sized team of engineers, machinists, and quality professionals, the company fosters a collaborative environment focused on continuous improvement.Job DescriptionThe Quality Control Manager (Medical Device) will:Oversee and execute First Article, in-process, and final inspections to ensure part conformityDevelop and maintain inspection plans, SOPs, and quality documentationVerify job setups and part specifications against customer purchase orders in the ERP systemMonitor production quality in real time, assisting machinists and ensuring quality checkpoints are metLead MRB processes and investigate non-conformances and customer complaintsMaintain calibration records and manage inspection tools inventorySupport ISO 9001 and 13485 compliance, including audits and QMS documentationCollaborate with production leads to ensure accurate job execution and quality standardsProvide training and guidance to inspectors and machinists on quality proceduresTrack job progress and update ERP system with inspection results and job statusDrive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance product quality and process efficiencyServe as a point of contact for quality-related customer concerns and uphold quality standardsMPI does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, national origin, age, disability, veteran status, marital status, or based on an individual's status in any group or class protected by applicable federal, state or local law.
