With a strong emphasis on MEP and HVAC systems-and potential for solar and microgrid integration-their 50-person team works primarily with federal agencies and other sectors like municipalities, universities, and data centers, offering innovative, savings-driven solutions backed by deep collaboration between engineering and construction teams.Job DescriptionThe Quality Control Specialist - MEP Renovations/Upgrades - NoVA/DC will be responsible for:Conduct regular inspections and testing to ensure materials and construction work meet quality and safety standards.Maintain accurate records of inspections, tests, and any deviations or non-conformances.Ensure compliance with all relevant codes, regulations, and industry standards.Prepare clear, detailed reports outlining inspection results and recommended corrective actions.Collaborate with project managers, subcontractors, and crews to resolve quality issues and keep projects on track.Provide training and guidance to field teams on quality control procedures and best practices.Identify opportunities for process improvement and help implement changes to enhance quality and efficiency.Analyze quality data to spot trends, recurring issues, or potential risks.Assist in maintaining the quality control system, including documentation, tools, and procedures.Represent the company in quality-related matters, including contract and regulatory obligations.MPI does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, national origin, age, disability, veteran status, marital status, or based on an individual's status in any group or class protected by applicable federal, state or local law.
