Job Description

  • Lead and develop high-performing Quality teams across multiple locations.
  • Cultivate a collaborative culture within and between departments.
  • Create and sustain comprehensive Analytical programs for all quality and production processes.
  • Establish and implement a strategic quality roadmap, covering quality systems, product lifecycle methodologies, and document management.
  • Provide technical expertise in analytical methods development, product formulation, and process optimization.
  • Oversee product investigations, lot release processes, material controls, R&D Quality, and data integrity protocols.
  • Identify and drive process improvements to enhance operational efficiencies.
  • Define, track, and report on key metrics and KPIs to the executive leadership team to support P&L performance.
  • Support validation activities for equipment, systems, and processes.
  • Ensure compliance with internal requirements, risk assessments, verifications, and change management procedures.
  • Lead the creation and refinement of Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
  • Oversee the release of raw materials, component parts, and finished goods.
  • Manage customer qualification surveys, audits, and improvement initiatives.
  • Develop and implement strategies to engage with external stakeholders and maintain communication with regulatory bodies.
  • Establish and negotiate Quality and Regulatory agreements with customers, including special requirements.

The Successful Applicant

  • 10+ years of leadership experience within metals manufacturing particularly within Quality is a must.
  • Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field required (Master's preferred).
  • Proven success in leading QA/QC teams, ideally in a manufacturing setting.
  • Strong track record with internal and external/customer audits with little to no findings
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills.
  • A passion for leveraging technology to enhance Quality Assurance processes.
  • Decisive leadership with a focus on accountability and team engagement and development
