Job Description

The Quality Engineer (Manufacturing) Will:

  • Assess quality assurance and cost-of-quality using statistical and analytical methods.
  • Develop and implement quality systems, inspection plans, and technical quality plans.
  • Perform statistical analyses to determine responsibility for non-compliant products/materials.
  • Provide quality input to product development teams and ensure compliance with specifications.
  • Coordinate with customers and suppliers to identify quality trends and corrective actions.
  • Conduct in-house and supplier audits, ensuring adherence to quality requirements.
  • Prepare reports, analyze data, and recommend improvements.
  • Participate in failure analysis and corrective action investigations.
  • Apply continuous improvement and lean manufacturing principles to enhance products and processes.
  • Represent the company in audits, developing corrective action procedures and plans.
  • Educate and communicate quality functions to Value Stream Teams (e.g., PPAP, APQP, document control).
  • Maintain professional knowledge through workshops, certifications, and industry networking.
  • Be onsite at our Nashua, NH facility 4 days per week

The Successful Applicant

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering (B.S.) required.
  • 2-4+ years of related experience in quality engineering or assurance.
  • American Society for Quality (ASQ) certification preferred.
  • Proficient in state-of-the-art inspection, quality assurance techniques, and tools.
  • Strong knowledge of continuous improvement techniques for quality and manufacturing.
  • Skilled in standard business applications and specialized data analysis tools.
  • Demonstrated ability to set goals, manage projects, and achieve objectives.
  • Effective communication and presentation skills for diverse audiences.
  • Analytical skills to define problems, gather data, and draw valid conclusions.
  • Experience with Six Sigma and Lean tools is a plus.
  • Proven ability to foster team collaboration, provide performance feedback, and support development.
  • Familiarity with maintaining and implementing quality systems.
  • Local to Nashua, NH
