Job Description

The key responsibilities of the Quality Engineer are:

  • Act as the primary on-site quality representative, overseeing compliance and quality standards.
  • Manage and guide the quality control team, ensuring robust processes and adherence to company-wide quality systems.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives across all departments, including engineering, operations, logistics, and customer support.
  • Develop and implement quality plans, operational procedures, and testing protocols (ATR/ATP).
  • Participate in New Product Introduction (NPI) projects, providing quality insights during surveys and reviews.
  • Conduct internal audits and collaborate with subcontractors and suppliers to maintain quality compliance.
  • Handle defect investigations, customer complaints, and corrective/preventive action plans, serving as the customer interface for quality matters.
  • Review and approve deviation requests, MRB decisions, and final inspection reports.
  • Collect and analyze quality data to identify trends and recommend preventive measures.
  • Maintain risk assessments for critical processes and ensure corrective actions for special processes are executed and documented.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Quality Engineer will have:

  • Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Electronics Engineering.
  • 5+ years of industry experience preferred.
  • Knowledge and understanding of AS9100 highly preferred.
  • Strong background in quality control of mechanical components.
  • Proven ability to lead audits, manage compliance, and implement quality systems.
  • Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to collaborate across teams and communicate effectively with customers and stakeholders.
