Quality Engineer - Automotive Manufacturer | Streamwood, IL

• Handle customer complaints and corrective actions for major automotive OEMs
• Work on non-conformance reporting and preventative actions
• Collaborate with site-level leaders to understand quality issues, work through containment and validation
• Report out to leadership groups on site and at different sites to ensure alignment on customer quality
• Involvement in ISO9001 audits
• Work through root cause analysis and general problem solving with methods like 8D, 5Why, Ishikawa, and more
