Job Description

  • Help manage and develop the QMS (ISO9001 & IATF16949)
  • Speak directly with customers, handling complaints and corrective actions
  • Work through root cause analysis using tools like 8D and 5Why
  • Collaborate with inspectors on FAI and finished good inspections
  • Drive continuous improvement projects cross-functionally with production team
  • Daily quality tasks as assigned

The Successful Applicant

  • 2+ years of quality engineering experience in a metal fabrication or automotive setting
  • Strong understanding of an ISO9001 QMS and associated compliance - IATF experience a plus
  • Proven experience handling and reducing the amount of customer complaints
  • Experience with Corrective and Preventative Actions
  • Microsoft office suite experience
  • Core tool and problem solving experience - PPAP/APQP, 8D, 5Why, CAPA, RCA, Etc.
