These products are designed to enhance performance and longevity by safeguarding components from environmental factors like moisture, heat, and electrical interference.Job DescriptionThis Quality Engineer has the following reponsibilities:Collaborate with external stakeholders along with quality and engineering personnel to ensure all internal systems comply with expectations.Develop and submit PPAP documents for new product launches and/or modifications to existing products needed to meet customer requirements.Determine when process stability and capability studies should be performed on existing processes. Review and analyze results.Recommend changes to processes based upon findings and perform follow up to verify effectiveness.Participate in the Advanced Product Quality Planning activities to determine appropriate use of existing and new measurement systems during new tool or process design and start-up.Apply problem solving techniques (8D, 5-Why, FMEA, GR&R, etc.) and advanced statistical methods.Monitor and administer customer portals.Coordinate pre-launch production trial run process monitoring.Lead the development of Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (FMEA).Maintain Control Plans and FMEA's throughout the life of the part.Lead and facilitate the use of appropriate problem-solving techniques for effective root cause analysis and successful corrective action.Lead supplier audits and drive continual improvements into their processes through this activity.Coordinate with Sales, Supply-Chain, R&D, and Operations to resolve customer complaints and concerns.Apply appropriate use of statistical techniques.Determine and apply appropriate Measurement System Analysis tools.Devise and maintain audit schedules.
