Job Description

  • Develop, implement, and maintain quality control processes to ensure products meet industry and customer specifications.
  • Conduct inspections, testing, and audits to monitor product quality and identify areas for improvement.
  • Analyze quality data and trends to implement corrective actions and prevent recurrence of issues.
  • Collaborate with engineering, production, and other teams to resolve quality issues and improve processes.
  • Support root cause analysis and lead corrective actions to address non-conformances.
  • Ensure compliance with quality standards, certifications, and regulatory requirements.
  • Develop and deliver training programs on quality standards, procedures, and best practices.
  • Prepare reports and documentation on quality performance for management review.
  • Lead or participate in continuous improvement initiatives using lean or Six Sigma methodologies.

The Successful Applicant

  • B.S. Degree in Engineering, Quality Assurance or related field.
  • 5+ years experience in quality control, quality assurance, or a related engineering role, ideally within a manufacturing or industrial environment.
  • Familiar with quality tools such as FMEA, SPC, and inspection methodologies to maintain product quality standards.
  • Skilled in root cause analysis and implementing corrective actions to address non-conformances and improve product quality.
  • Familiarity with industry standards such as ISO 9001, IATF16949 and any relevant certifications (e.g., Six Sigma, Lean) are a plus.
  • Comfortable analyzing quality data, identifying trends, and using this information to implement process improvements.
