We are seeking a Quality Engineer with a strong understanding of IATF standards to join our client's team near Valley City, OH. The ideal candidate will play a key role in ensuring the highest standards of quality compliance within the automotive industry.

Job Description

  • Oversee quality control processes and ensure adherence to company and industry standards.
  • Conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective actions for process improvements.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve quality issues.
  • Develop and maintain quality documentation, including control plans and process flow diagrams.
  • Perform audits to ensure compliance with regulatory and quality standards.
  • Provide training and guidance on quality standards to production teams.
  • Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to evaluate process efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Support new product launches by ensuring quality requirements are met.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Quality Engineer should have:

  • A background in engineering or a related field.
  • Strong understanding of quality management systems and manufacturing processes.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Proficiency in quality tools such as FMEA, 8D, and Root Cause Analysis.
  • Experience in the automotive or fastener manufacturing industries is a plus
