About Our Client

Our client is a leading custom manufacturer specialized in electro-mechanical components with a specific focus on aerospace, military and defense They are looking to add a quality engineer to their team to help support their overall quality efforts.

Job Description

  • Involved in developing quality control policies and evaluates production limitations
  • Ability to work cross functionally to resolve quality issues
  • Assist with creating and maintaining quality documentation.
  • Support first article inspection, approve materials, final product assemblies by confirming specifications, conduct visual and measurement tests, and rejecting and returning unacceptable materials
  • Ability to troubleshoot CMM program
  • Understanding of root cause analysis and implementation of corrective action
  • Read and interpret blueprints and customer specifications to establish correct inspection criteria
  • Working knowledge of NADCAP regulations

The Successful Applicant

  • Bachelor degree in Engineering
  • At least 1 year of experience serving in a quality role
  • Understanding of engineering principles
  • Microsoft Office Suite experience in Word/Excel/PowerPoint/Outlook
  • Strong problem solving skills
  • Exposure to NADCAP regulations is a plus
  • Ability to trouble shoot CMM
  • Ability to work on the manufacturing floor
  • Must be eligible to work in an ITAR regulated facility
