They are local to Worcester, MA.Job DescriptionThe Quality Engineer (Industrial Manufacturing) Will: Overview:Supports Quality Manager by performing inspections, root cause analyses, corrective actions, and leading improvement projects.Daily Responsibilities:Handle customer complaints and manage RMAs, DMRs, and supplier CAPAsLead continuous improvement (CI) projects and internal auditsConduct metallographic inspections and prepare reportsKey Duties:Perform quality inspections, root cause analyses, and implement corrective actionsLead Root Cause and Corrective Action (RCCA) efforts; prepare reportsOversee RMA resolution and report on open RMAsReview and disposition DMRsLead or participate in continuous improvement projectsLead internal/external quality auditsCreate/maintain inspection procedures and train on inspection systems/toolsPerform metallographic inspections and material analysisEstablish machine capability envelopes for key equipmentTrack vendor quality and provide status reportsSupport materials testing and dimensional inspections as neededMPI does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, national origin, age, disability, veteran status, marital status, or based on an individual's status in any group or class protected by applicable federal, state or local law.
