My client is a global industrial manufacturer for the automotive, aerospace, and medical device industries and is looking for a Quality Engineer to join their growing quality department. The Quality Engineer will primarily responsible for process validation and production change management activities.

Job Description

  • Demonstrates strong capability in evaluating the adequacy and completeness of technical data, deviations, and related quality requirements.
  • Collaborates effectively with multiple departments to address quality-related questions and resolve issues.
  • Communicates directly with customers to resolve inquiries, clarify requirements, address complaints, and support the 8D process, certifications, and other quality needs.
  • Provides support to the Inspection Department.
  • Partners with Quality Technicians and Quality Assistants to resolve documentation concerns.
  • Participates in internal investigations and the development of corrective action plans.
  • Supports internal audits, customer audits, and customer visits.
  • Prepares PPAP documentation, including Control Plans, Balloon Drawings, PFMEAs, and Process Flow Diagrams.
  • Creates AS9102 First Article Inspection reports.
  • Performs internal QMS and process audits.
  • Assists with validation and qualification activities.

The Successful Applicant

  • Degree in engineering or a related field required
  • Experience with ISO 9001, IATF 16949, ISO 13485, and/or AS9100
  • Process validation experience (PPAP, FAI, IQ/OQ/PQ, etc.)
  • Production change management experience
  • Core Tools - Control Plan, FMEAs, SPC, etc.
  • Problem-solving mindset with root cause and CAPA experience

What's on Offer

  • Base salary between $75,000 - $85,000 depending on experience
