Job Description

The Quality Engineer, Industrial / Medical Device Manufacturing will:

Lead root cause investigations and manage corrective actions through closure
Conduct internal quality audits and support QMS gap analysis and improvements
Develop and maintain quality documentation, including control plans and QMS records
Train employees on quality processes and procedures
Analyze manufacturing data using statistical tools (e.g., SPC from ERP)
Collaborate with Engineering to improve measurement methods and production processes
Support continuous improvement and Lean initiatives
Implement and enhance quality-related capabilities within the ERP system
Communicate with customers and suppliers regarding quality issues
Participate in process mapping and other CI projects
Provide backup support for Quality Technician and QA Specialist roles
Perform additional quality-related tasks as assigned by the Team Leader
Onsite at our Somersworth, NH facility

The Successful Applicant

Bachelor's degree in Quality, Engineering, or a related discipline
2-5 years of experience in a Lean manufacturing environment
Exposure to the medical device industry is a plus
Familiarity with ERP systems and document control processes
Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Word and Excel
Open to candidates from a range of industry backgrounds
Local to Somersworth, NH
