Job Description

The Quality Engineer, Industrial / Medical Device Manufacturing will:

  • Lead root cause investigations and manage corrective actions through closure
  • Conduct internal quality audits and support QMS gap analysis and improvements
  • Develop and maintain quality documentation, including control plans and QMS records
  • Train employees on quality processes and procedures
  • Analyze manufacturing data using statistical tools (e.g., SPC from ERP)
  • Collaborate with Engineering to improve measurement methods and production processes
  • Support continuous improvement and Lean initiatives
  • Implement and enhance quality-related capabilities within the ERP system
  • Communicate with customers and suppliers regarding quality issues
  • Participate in process mapping and other CI projects
  • Provide backup support for Quality Technician and QA Specialist roles
  • Perform additional quality-related tasks as assigned by the Team Leader
  • Onsite at our Somersworth, NH facility

The Successful Applicant

  • Bachelor's degree in Quality, Engineering, or a related discipline
  • 2-5 years of experience in a Lean manufacturing environment
  • Exposure to the medical device industry is a plus
  • Familiarity with ERP systems and document control processes
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Word and Excel
  • Open to candidates from a range of industry backgrounds
  • Local to Somersworth, NH
