Job Description

This Quality Engineer ensures products meet high standards throughout manufacturing:

  • Collaborates with leadership on quality procedures and objectives.
  • Oversees inspections, analyzes data, and approves corrective actions.
  • Develops inspection plans, conducts audits, and investigates customer concerns.
  • Manages inspection teams, inspects raw materials, and maintains quality records.
  • Performs additional tasks like:
    • Ensuring efficient and safe production procedures.
    • Maintaining calibration systems and equipment.
    • Conducting environmental testing.
  • Prepares reports for quality management.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Quality Engineer will have:

  • Strong attention to detail and a focus on achieving quality results.
  • The ability to identify and report issues effectively.
  • Experience in quality inspection or a related field.
  • Proven ability to maintain accurate and complete quality records.
  • Familiarity with quality control equipment and procedures.
  • In-depth knowledge of quality standards and testing methods.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Working knowledge of ISO 9001 quality systems (a plus).
  • Prior supervisory experience (a plus).
