Job Description

  • Support production and quality teams across prototype, NPI, and sustaining builds by developing and enforcing PCBA and box‑build quality controls and inspection plans.
  • Analyze quality data using established quality tools and drive recurring internal and customer‑facing quality reviews.
  • Lead cross‑functional root‑cause investigations using 8D, CAPA, and other problem‑solving methods to deliver sustainable improvements.
  • Oversee DMR, MRB, RMA, and CAPA processes, ensuring full compliance to internal procedures and customer/regulatory requirements.
  • Review customer specifications for quality requirements and respond to quality‑related feedback or concerns.
  • Support incoming inspection, guide teams on AQL and MSA, and perform risk assessments including FMEAs.
  • Collaborate with engineering teams on process and product validation activities (IQ/OQ/PQ).
  • Ensure calibration and maintenance programs meet ISO, FDA, and customer expectations.
  • Maintain compliance with ESD standards and company procedures on the production floor.
  • Create, update, and manage Quality Management System documentation to meet ISO 9001, ISO 13485, AS9100, and FDA requirements.
  • Plan, schedule, and conduct internal audits; develop detailed audit reports and follow‑up actions.
  • Issue Quality Alerts, support purges, and drive timely resolution of supplier quality issues.
  • Monitor supplier PPM performance and support vendors in achieving dock‑to‑stock readiness.
  • Contribute to corporate 6S initiatives and collaborate effectively with all departments.

The Successful Applicant

  • Associate degree required; Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • 4+ years in a manufacturing quality environment, preferably within PCBA, NPI, or low‑volume high‑mix production.
  • Strong understanding of ISO 9001, ISO 13485, AS9100, and FDA/21 CFR 820 requirements.
  • Working knowledge of PCBA processes, IPC standards (IPC‑A‑610, IPC‑A‑620, J‑STD‑001), and component identification.
  • Experience interfacing directly with customers on quality issues.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and familiar with lean and Six Sigma methodologies.
  • Must be a U.S. Citizen due to ITAR/CUI compliance requirements.
