Job Description

The Quality Engineer will be generally responsible for:

  • Playing a key role in the development of their QMS
  • Aiding with ISO 9001 audits
  • Creating reports based on statistical analysis and other key tools
  • Handling non conformance reports and testing
  • Product and Protype Testing utlizing various tools
  • Working directly with customers to resolve any quality issues or concerns
  • Lead corrective actions through Root Cause Analysis and other problem solving methods
  • Reading and interpreting blueprints/drawings
  • PFMEAs

The Successful Applicant

A successful quality engineer will have the following:

  • 5+ years of experience in a quality engineering in a manufacturing environment
  • An associates degree or bachelors degree (ASQ Certification is sufficient)
  • Background with metals manufacturing and the related industry standards
  • Working knowledge of ISO 9001
  • Strong Root Cause and Corrective Action/Preventative action knowledge
  • Experience with PFMEA
  • GD&T Experience
