Job Description

  • Analyze and interpret mechanical drawings to verify dimensional accuracy of manufactured parts.
  • Execute and document First Article Inspections in alignment with industry and internal guidelines.
  • Support process validation for new products, tooling, and production changes.
  • Lead root cause investigations and develop Corrective and Preventive Actions.
  • Drive quality improvements aimed at reducing scrap, variation, and defects.
  • Review production and inspection data to identify trends and propose solutions.
  • Maintain quality documentation such as inspection records, control plans, and risk assessments.
  • Contribute to internal audits and ensure adherence to quality management system requirements.
  • Inspect incoming materials and final assemblies to confirm compliance with specifications.

The Successful Applicant

  • 3-5 years of quality engineering experience within a manufacturing environment.
  • Strong understanding of mechanical drawings and quality systems.
  • Hands‑on approach with proven analytical and problem‑solving skills.
  • Experience performing root cause analysis and implementing CAPA.
  • Proficiency with data‑driven quality tools and documentation practices.
  • Knowledge of SPC and Six Sigma methodologies.
  • Background in aerospace, defense, or precision‑regulated industries.
  • Familiarity with thermal distortion, tolerance control, or similar technical challenges.
  • Experience with ISO 9001‑compliant environments.
