Job Description

The key responsibilities of the Quality Engineer are:

  • Develop, implement, and maintain quality assurance processes for manufacturing of reliability coatings, sealants, adhesives, and related protective materials.
  • Conduct root-cause analysis and implement corrective and preventive action (CAPA) programs.
  • Support material characterization, testing protocols, and quality documentation.
  • Monitor process performance and identify opportunities for continuous improvement.
  • Collaborate with production, engineering, and technical teams to ensure compliance with applicable standards and certifications.
  • Provide quality oversight for incoming raw materials and outgoing finished products.
  • Participate in internal and supplier audits to maintain quality system integrity.
  • Assist in maintaining regulatory, environmental, and safety compliance within a chemical manufacturing environment.

The Successful Applicant

The successful Quality Engineer will have:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Chemistry, Materials Science, or a related technical field.
  • 2+ years of experience in quality engineering, preferably in a regulated manufacturing setting
  • Familiarity with ISO quality systems, SPC, Six Sigma, or Lean Manufacturing methodologies.
  • Strong analytical skills and proficiency in root-cause analysis tools.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities within a dynamic production environment.
  • Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration abilities.
