Job Description

  • Maintain consistent compliance with ISO 9001
  • Lead cross-functional teams to create and update Process Control Plans/Manufacturing Process Plans, FMEAs, and Process Masters
  • Initiate and coordinate follow-up activity on Corrective/Preventive Actions (CAR/PAR)
  • Coordinate activity related to Claims and Non-Conforming Product including processing the required internal and external documentation
  • Review Material Test Reports for compliance to order specifications and submit to customers
  • Log quality related data such as nonconformances and first pass quality into QA databases
  • Generate quality reports and update monthly key performance indicators (KPI) data
  • Prepare First Article/Production Part Approval Process (PPAP) submission packages
  • Assist with calibration and Gage R&Rs
  • Coordinate supplier quality activity including supplier quality audits and surveys

The Successful Applicant

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, or a related field (preferred).
  • Knowledge of quality management systems (QMS), ISO standards, and industry certifications such as AS9100, IATF 16949, etc.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with experience in root cause analysis and corrective actions.
  • Proficiency with quality tools such as Six Sigma, SPC, FMEA, and CAPA.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to collaborate effectively across departments.
  • Strong attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high-quality standards.
  • Experience with inspection equipment and techniques (CMM, calipers, micrometers, etc.).
  • Experience with CNC machining, aerospace, automotive, or medical device manufacturing
  • Certification in Quality Management (e.g., CQE, CQA, or Six Sigma).
  • Familiarity with ERP systems and quality management software.
