Job Description

  • Supervise daily laboratory activities to ensure accurate and timely testing.
  • Manage and mentor laboratory technicians and staff.
  • Ensure compliance with quality standards, regulatory requirements, and safety protocols.
  • Maintain and calibrate laboratory equipment and instruments.
  • Develop, implement, and update standard operating procedures (SOPs).
  • Review and approve test data, reports, and documentation.
  • Coordinate with production and quality teams to resolve quality issues.
  • Monitor laboratory performance metrics and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Oversee inventory management of lab supplies and materials.
  • Ensure proper training and development of lab personnel.

The Successful Applicant

  • 7+ years of experience within a quality role
  • Experience within a lab setting in a leadership position
  • Proficiency with statistical tools such as Minitab, SQC Pack, and JMP
  • Working knowledge of ISO 9001
  • Strong organizational skills and analytical abilities
  • Previous leadership experience is highly desirable
  • Strong computer skills and communication skills
