Job Description

The Quality Manager (aerospace) will:

  • Lead, mentor, and manage a quality team of 10+ professionals.
  • Report directly to the CEO and serve as a key member of the leadership team.
  • Oversee and maintain compliance with AS9100, NADCAP, FAR/DFARS, and customer-specific requirements.
  • Implement and improve quality systems aligned with GE and Pratt & Whitney standards.
  • Drive root cause analysis, corrective actions, and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Manage internal audits, customer audits, and regulatory inspections.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for quality-related customer communication.

The Successful Applicant

The successful applicant will have:

  • Experience and knowledge working with GE and GE SPECS (required).
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related technical field (preferred).
  • Minimum 5+ years of experience in a quality management role within aerospace manufacturing.
  • Current experience in a Senior QE role lookikng to advance into management.
  • In-depth knowledge of AS9100, NADCAP, FAR/DFARS compliance.
  • Familiarity with GE and Pratt & Whitney quality systems and expectations.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage and develop high-performing teams.
  • Proven track record of implementing process improvements and quality initiatives.
  • Excellent communication skills and customer-facing experience.
