This role will focus on maintaining the Quality Management System (QMS), driving continuous improvement initiatives, handling customer complaints, and implementing corrective actions

About Our Client

"Our client is a manufacturer and supplier of metal finishing services, primarily supporting the aerospace, defense, and automotive sectors. Their customer base includes several Fortune 500 companies-such as GM, Ford, Lockheed Martin, and Caterpillar-as well as government agencies like NASA. While they operate with a lean team of under 100 employees, they run a 70,000 sq. ft. state-of-the-art facility and have recently completed a major expansion, effectively doubling the size of their plant.

Job Description

  • Address customer and management concerns, including technical inquiries
  • Ensure ISO 5S discipline is upheld across the shop floor
  • Maintain compliance with ISO 9001:2015 quality management standards
  • Lead efforts toward achieving IATF 16949 and A2LA ISO/IEC 17025 accreditation
  • Drive and support Continuous Improvement initiatives
  • Define and enforce quality acceptance criteria
  • Initiate and manage Corrective and Preventive Actions (CAPA)
  • Foster a culture of quality awareness throughout the organization
  • Collect, analyze, and summarize data for audit readiness and reporting
  • Develop part files based on incoming orders for management use
  • Execute assigned action items in a timely manner
  • Monitor and resolve problems, issues, and projects with on-floor engagement

The Successful Applicant

  • 3+ years of experience in metal finishing
  • Experience with NADCAP and ITAR compliance
  • ISO 9001 QMS experience
  • Bilingual in Spanish preferred
  • Experience with ISO 13485 and/or IATF 16949 is a plus
  • Sponsorship not provided
