Job Description



The Quality Manager will:

  • Ensure quality requirements are clearly defined and integrated into planning and compliance processes across all functional levels.
  • Lead Total Quality Management (TQM) initiatives across business units to align with company goals.
  • Develop and implement quality management systems that meet IATF 16949, AS9100, ISO9001, and customer standards; FAA experience is a plus.
  • Audit and enhance existing quality systems to meet regulatory and customer requirements.
  • Provide leadership in achieving facility quality objectives and collaborate with internal and external stakeholders for technical support and issue resolution.
  • Oversee quality assurance for purchased materials, parts, equipment, and processes, ensuring supplier quality aligns with divisional goals.
  • Conduct supplier quality audits, manage corrective actions, and monitor supplier performance metrics.
  • Utilize automated systems to plan, implement, and track quality systems and processes effectively.
  • Drive improvements in customer satisfaction, throughput, quality, cost efficiency, and employee productivity.
  • Support continuous improvement by identifying and implementing new quality management methods and practices.
  • Onsite at our Burlington, MA facility

The Successful Applicant

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related technical discipline.
  • 8-10+ years of quality experience in a manufacturing environment, with 5-7 years in world-class operations preferred.
  • 2-3+ years in a quality manager role, with demonstrated leadership and employee motivation skills.
  • Preparedness to transition into a Director-level role within a few years.
  • Strong knowledge of Total Quality concepts and ISO standards.
  • Proficiency in statistical improvement methods and corrective action development.
  • Proven ability to perform essential job functions and drive quality initiatives.
  • Effective written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills for collaboration across internal and external stakeholders.
  • Experience in coaching, facilitation, and team development.
  • Track record of implementing process improvements and driving operational excellence.
  • Familiarity with quality management systems and industry best practices.
  • Availability for limited travel as required.
  • Local to Burlington, MA
