With a strong business model and growing customer segments, they are looking to add a tenured quality manager that has extensive experience with gear manufacturing.Job DescriptionMaintain high levels of internal and external customer service, investigate (and correct) customer issues and complaints relating to quality through corrective actions and active follow upsSupervise workers engages in inspection and testing activities to ensure high productivity and high technical integrityLead ISO9001 and AS9100 audits internally and externallyDevelop and analyze statistical data and product specifications to determine standards and to establish quality and reliability expectancy of finished productsProvide technical and statistical expertise to teamsFormulate, document and maintain quality control standards and on-going quality control objectivesCoordinate objectives with production procedures in cooperation with other plant managers to maximize product reliability and minimize costsCreate, document and implement inspection criteria and proceduresInterpret quality control philosophy to key personnel within CompanyProvide, and oversee, inspection activity for product throughout production cycleApply total quality management tools and approaches to analytical and reporting processesInteract with vendors to ensure quality of all purchased partsCreate and direct environmental test functions and applicationsMaintain active role on internal Continuous Improvement teamsDesign, develop and implement quality control training programsMPI does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, national origin, age, disability, veteran status, marital status, or based on an individual's status in any group or class protected by applicable federal, state or local law.
