Quality Manager-Government Industrial Manufacturer-Bristol, CT

They key responsibilities for the Quality Manager will be:

• Develop, implement, and maintain the company's QMS in compliance with ISO 9001 standards and other relevant regulations.
• Conduct regular audits and inspections to ensure adherence to established processes and standards.
• Ensure products and processes meet customer requirements, industry standards, and regulatory guidelines.
• Coordinate external audits and maintain necessary certifications.
• Identify opportunities for process enhancements and lead continuous improvement initiatives to optimize product quality and operational efficiency.
• Analyze quality performance data to develop and implement corrective and preventive actions.
• Lead, mentor, and train the quality assurance team to develop a high-performing and proactive department.
• Provide guidance and training to all employees on quality standards, policies, and best practices.
• Prepare and maintain detailed quality documentation, including procedures, manuals, and reports.
• Present quality performance metrics and updates to senior management.
