Job Description

  • Oversee all quality management efforts, including program development, training, and compliance.
  • Act as the Management Representative for Quality Management Systems.
  • Ensure compliance with ISO standards and report to top management on system performance.
  • Promote awareness of quality standards and customer requirements.
  • Coordinate audits, manage corrective actions, and ensure supplier qualification.
  • Develop strategic plans and provide expertise in quality methodologies.
  • Apply Six Sigma and DMAIC methodologies to improve processes.
  • Travel as needed, roughly 15%, to Chicago and Delaware, to support manufacturing sites and coordinate with external assessment bodies.

The Successful Applicant


  • Desired: BS/BA in Chemistry or Engineering; advanced degree preferred.
  • Preferably holds industry certifications.

Key Skill Sets:

  • Strong automotive industry background preferred; experience in regulated industries like aerospace and medical highly advantageous.
  • Management experience preferred; adept at collaborating with diverse departments and personalities.
  • Comprehensive understanding of quality systems.


  • Oversee quality management efforts, including process engineering and manufacturing for specialty chemicals.
  • Demonstrate effective leadership and problem-solving skills, with a focus on customer satisfaction and attention to detail.
  • Utilize process simulation and data analysis software for optimization.
  • Ensure adherence to IATF16949 standards and lead audits as a Certified Lead Auditor.
  • Maintain working knowledge of ISO 9001, AS9100D, and ISO 13485.
  • Analyze complex quality projects independently and implement PPAP processes.
  • Mentor and train the team on effective problem-solving methods.
  • Willingness to travel to support manufacturing sites.
