Job Description

  • Lead and manage the quality assurance team to ensure product quality and compliance with customer and industry standards.
  • Develop, implement, and maintain quality management systems and continuous improvement programs.
  • Conduct internal audits, inspections, and reviews to monitor quality processes and identify areas for improvement.
  • Collaborate with engineering, production, and other departments to resolve quality issues and optimize processes.
  • Manage customer complaints, investigations, and non-conformance reports, ensuring timely and effective resolutions.
  • Ensure adherence to regulatory requirements, safety standards, and ISO certifications.
  • Analyze quality data and performance metrics to identify trends and implement corrective actions.
  • Provide training and mentorship to staff on quality standards, best practices, and problem-solving techniques.

The Successful Applicant

  • A degree in engineering, quality management, or a related field is required; certifications such as Six Sigma or Lean are a plus.
  • Proven experience in a quality management or quality assurance role, ideally within a manufacturing or industrial environment.
  • Familiarity with quality management systems including ISO 9001 and AS9100.
  • Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills to identify issues, determine root causes, and implement corrective actions.
  • Able to effectively communicate quality standards and expectations across all levels of the organization.
  • Experience in analyzing quality data, preparing reports, and using performance metrics to drive improvements.
