Their skilled engineers and machinists are committed to upholding the highest standards of craftsmanship and safety, ensuring that every product meets or exceeds their clients' expectations.As a trusted partner in the Chicagoland area, they strive to be the go-to source for specialized manufacturing needs.Job DescriptionMaintain a robust quality management system (QMS) that aligns with industry standards and customer specifications.Lead and manage the quality assurance team, ensuring the inspection and testing of raw materials, in-process, and finished products.Monitor all stages of the production process to ensure compliance with quality standards and specificationsPerform root cause analysis and implement corrective actions to address any quality issues or non-conformances.Collaborate with production, engineering, and project management teams to ensure product quality throughout the manufacturing process.Establish and maintain quality control documentation, including inspection reports, audits, and test results.Develop and conduct internal and external audits to ensure adherence to quality standards, certifications, and regulatory requirements (e.g., ISO, AS9100).Provide training and guidance to employees on quality control procedures and best practices.Work closely with suppliers and customers to resolve any quality concerns and ensure timely delivery of high-quality products.Track and report key quality metrics, identifying trends and areas for continuous improvement.Maintain a strong focus on safety and regulatory compliance in all aspects of the quality process.MPI does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, national origin, age, disability, veteran status, marital status, or based on an individual's status in any group or class protected by applicable federal, state or local law.
