If you are in Syracuse or willing to relocate, please read on and apply to the Senior Quality Manager role based in Syracuse, NY.Job DescriptionThe Quality Manager - Manufacturing will be responsible for the following:Develop, implement, and maintain the company's Quality Management System in compliance with ISO 9001, IPC standards, or other relevant certifications.Conduct regular audits (internal and external) to ensure compliance and address non-conformities promptly.Manage documentation, including quality manuals, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and work instructionsAnalyze production processes to identify areas for improvement in quality, efficiency, and cost-effectiveness.Lead root cause analysis and corrective/preventive action processes for quality issues.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement lean manufacturing principles and Six Sigma methodologies.Establish and maintain processes for capturing and analyzing customer feedback and complaints.Act as the primary contact for quality-related customer inquiries and audits.Drive initiatives to improve customer satisfaction and product reliability.Manage and mentor the QA team, including hiring, training, and performance management.Foster a culture of quality, accountability, and continuous improvement across the organization.Conduct regular team meetings to discuss quality objectives, performance metrics, and improvement strategies.Oversee the inspection and testing of raw materials, in-process products, and finished goods to meet specifications.Ensure compliance with all relevant regulatory requirements and industry standards.Stay up-to-date on technological advancements, quality tools, and industry trends to maintain competitive standards.MPI does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, national origin, age, disability, veteran status, marital status, or based on an individual's status in any group or class protected by applicable federal, state or local law.
