My Client is a New Jersey-based custom plastic molding manufacturer known for delivering turnkey solutions across medical, industrial, food & beverage, and consumer goods industries. With advanced capabilities in blow molding, injection molding, and assembly, They champion Made in the USA manufacturing and thrives on customer collaboration, speed, and excellence in quality.

Job Description

They key responsibilites of the Quality Manager are:

  • Develop and enforce quality control procedures to meet industry and customer standards.
  • Lead and manage a team of 10 QA/QC professionals including inspectors, engineers, and document control.
  • Oversee automated Quality Management Systems including CMM, Vision Inspection, and FAI.
  • Design and implement inspection/testing protocols for raw materials and finished goods.
  • Conduct and lead audits in accordance with FDA and ISO 9001 standards.
  • Collaborate closely with customers to meet and exceed quality expectations.
  • Support and scale quality operations for expansion into a new Texas facility.

The Successful Applicant

The sucessful Quality Manager candidate will have:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering is required.
  • At least 5 years of quality leadership experience in a manufacturing setting.
  • Strong knowledge of Root Cause Analysis, CAPA, and automated vision systems.
  • Proven track record managing and mentoring QA/QC teams.
  • Experience with FDA, ISO 9001, and preferably SQF quality standards.
  • Nice-to-have experience in plastics manufacturing and Six Sigma certification.
  • Comfortable being accountable for 24/7 quality operations in a hands-on, on-site role.
