About Our Client

My client is a manufacturer that specializes in custom, highly modifiable, linear lighting fixtures, building directly to customer specifications. They are a rapidly growing company that places a large emphasis on continually improving their company and specifically the engineering department. They are looking for a Quality Manager that will oversee & create the quality system and work directly with the customers. Job Description

  • GD&T, blueprint reading
  • Communicate with suppliers and customers on orders
  • Develop and implement quality control procedures and standards to ensure that all products meet or exceed customer expectations
  • Conduct product inspections, tests, and audits to identify and resolve quality issues
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve product design, manufacturing processes, and supplier quality
  • Analyze customer feedback and warranty claims to identify trends and implement corrective actions
  • Develop and maintain quality documentation, including inspection reports, test procedures, and quality manuals
  • Train and mentor production staff in quality control procedures and standards

The Successful Applicant

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field
  • 3-5 years in a Quality Engineering role
  • Strong knowledge of quality control procedures and standards
  • Experience with product inspection, testing, and auditing techniques
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, GD&T
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
