Job Description

  • Lead and develop a small U.S.-based quality team, including mentoring two technicians
  • Manage and support internal and supplier audits (FDA and ISO)
  • Oversee CAPAs, root cause analysis, internal audits, and overall compliance
  • Ensure product and process quality within a regulated manufacturing environment
  • Collaborate closely with manufacturing, supply chain, and customer service teams
  • Partner with the global quality team based overseas to align on standards and improvements
  • Take a proactive, hands-on role in driving continuous improvement across quality systems
  • Limited travel to suppliers as needed

The Successful Applicant

  • Experienced in both operational and systems quality within a manufacturing setting
  • Strong leadership skills, with the ability to mentor and develop junior team members
  • Confident managing audits (FDA experience is ideal, but ISO 9001 is acceptable)
  • Comfortable working independently in a lean team, wearing multiple hats
  • Proficient with quality tools like RCA, 5 Whys, and CAPA processes
  • Practical, collaborative, and approachable-able to drive change without being rigid
  • Emotionally intelligent, with the ability to work cross-functionally and build strong relationships
  • Eager to grow long-term within a company that invests in employee development
  • Open to candidates outside of medical devices if they bring strong quality and manufacturing experience
