Job Description



  • Manage and maintain the company's Quality Management System (QMS) to ensure compliance with AS9100, ISO 9001, and other applicable industry standards.


  • Lead continuous improvement initiatives within Engineering and Manufacturing to enhance product quality and operational efficiency.


  • Plan and conduct internal and external audits to verify adherence to quality and regulatory requirements.


  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to investigate and resolve quality issues promptly.


  • Develop and deliver training on quality standards, processes, and best practices.


  • Monitor, track, and analyze quality metrics to identify trends and drive performance improvements.


  • Support new product introductions by ensuring all quality requirements and standards are met.


  • Provide regular reporting on QMS performance to senior leadership and recommend enhancements.

The Successful Applicant

Required Skills / Qualifications



  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Quality, or a related technical discipline.


  • Minimum of 5 years' experience in quality management within aerospace or other high-reliability manufacturing environments.


  • Strong working knowledge of AS9100, ISO 9001, and relevant regulatory requirements.


  • Lead Auditor certification (AS9100 or ISO 9001) strongly preferred.


  • Proficiency with quality methodologies and systems such as 8D, FMEA, Six Sigma, QMS platforms, and ERP systems.


  • Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills.



Desired Skills / Qualifications



  • Six Sigma certification.


  • Experience working with FAA, EASA, or DoD quality requirements.


  • Familiarity with PPAP, APQP, and Statistical Process Control (SPC).



Education



  • Bachelor's degree required.
