Job Description

  • Prepare in vivo/in vitro samples, solutions and reagents used in laboratory procedures.
  • Conduct tests of polymer/bio-material samples for product release or R&D purposes.
  • Assist in designing and executing appropriate experiments and evaluating the data
  • in-house and from contract laboratories.
  • Support R&D Manager in the execution of standard analytical internal and external tests and in the generation of analytical reports.
  • Present research findings to scientists, engineers and other colleagues.
  • Provide instruction and training to interns and junior research personnel.

The Successful Applicant

  • M.S. in Chemistry with 1+ years of professional experience OR B.S. in Chemistry with 3+ years of experience
  • Basic skills in wet chemistry (extraction, filtration and precipitation)
  • Analytical skills to characterize and qualify the bio-materials (LC, GC, GPC) and mechanical testing
  • MUST HAVE analytical chemistry background
  • MUST HAVE polymer physicochemical characterization experience
  • MUST HAVE hands-on experience on GC (gas chromatography), LC (liquid chromatography) or GPC (gel permeation chromatography).
