Job Description

  • Conduct research and development to create innovative solutions in the Engineering & Manufacturing department.
  • Lead end-to-end new product development projects from concept through commercialization.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and test prototypes for new products or processes.
  • Analyze data and provide insights to enhance product performance and efficiency.
  • Prepare product documentation and reports to support project progress and findings.
  • Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulatory guidelines throughout the development cycle.
  • Contribute to generating new ideas and approaches.
  • Monitor project timelines and deliverables to ensure timely completion of objectives.
  • Support troubleshooting and optimization efforts for existing products and systems.

The Successful Applicant

A successful R&D professional should have:

  • Strong technical knowledge in Engineering & Manufacturing principles.
  • Bachelor's degree in Food Science, Food Engineering, or related field.
  • Product development experience in CPG food.
  • Experience taking products from concept to commercialization (lab to shelf).
  • Strong knowledge of food formulation, processing, labeling, and regulatory compliance.
  • Software proficiency.
  • Proficiency in research methodologies and data analysis tools.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
  • Excellent problem-solving and critical-thinking skills.
  • Strong written and verbal communication abilities for documentation and reporting.
  • A proactive attitude towards learning and innovation.
