Job Description



  • Market Research: Analyzing local and national real estate trends, occupancy rates, rental and ADR (Average Daily Rate) trends, and demographic data to inform investment strategies.


  • Financial Modeling: Building pro forma models to forecast cash flows, returns (IRR, ROI), and valuations for acquisitions, developments, and dispositions.


  • Asset Valuation: Conducting discounted cash flow (DCF) analyses, cap rate assessments, and comparable property analyses to determine asset value.


  • Due Diligence: Supporting acquisition and development teams by reviewing financial statements, third-party reports, and underwriting assumptions.


  • Reporting & Presentations: Preparing investment memos, dashboards, and presentations for internal stakeholders or investors to support decision-making.


  • Operational Analysis: Monitoring property-level performance metrics like occupancy, RevPAR (for hotels), and NOI, and making recommendations for operational improvements.

The Successful Applicant

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Real Estate, Economics, or a related field.


  • Proficiency in financial modeling, especially in Excel (e.g., building pro formas, sensitivity analyses, IRR/NPV calculations).


  • Experience with real estate tools and databases like CoStar, STR, Yardi, RealPage, or Argus.
  • Strong understanding of multifamily and hospitality real estate fundamentals, including revenue drivers, cap rates, lease structures, and operating metrics like NOI, ADR, RevPAR, and occupancy.


  • Ability to interpret complex data and translate it into actionable insights and recommendations.


  • Detail-oriented with a strong sense of accuracy and thoroughness in analysis.
  • Clear communicator, able to write concise investment memos and deliver presentations to senior executives or investors.


  • Self-starter who can manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.


  • Strong time management and organizational skills.


  • Professional demeanor with a solution-oriented mindset.
