Description
The Real Estate Asset Management Sr. Associate is a very visible role with the Firm and will be responsible for:
- Supporting the asset management for a large portfolio of age restricted multi-family/senior living and other real estate assets
- Reviewing and helping prepare annual budgets for properties
- Identifying optimal capital allocation across assets
- Underwriting capital projects and creating memos/presentations
- Identifying and implementing improvements and best practices throughout the portfolio, whether technology-related, strategic, and/or operational
- Regularly reviewing assets' budgets and working with operational teams to ensure each property is operating to produce a positive outcome
- Helping to identify and execute value-add and cost-saving measures
- Inspecting properties on-site to help assess operational needs
- Reporting results, news, updates, etc. to senior leadership
The Successful Applicant
The successful candidate for the Real Estate Asset Management Sr. Associate will have:
- 3-7 years of experience in real estate asset management overseeing a portfolio of multi-family/mixed-use/senior living assets
- Experience with on-site operational assessments
- Bachelors Degree in Finance/Accounting/Business/Real Estate/Engineering with 3.5+ GPA
- MBA and/or Masters in Real Estate strongly preferred
- Strong financial modeling and analysis skills and experience
- Self-starter, resourceful, creative mindset
- Position is based in Chicago; must have the ability to travel up to 25%

The target base salary for the Real Estate Asset Management Sr. Associate is $85k-95k, commensurate with experience. Additionally, the position will be eligible for:
- 20% annual bonus
