Job Description

  • Manage development projects from acquisition through completion
  • Lead underwriting, financial modeling, and investment analysis
  • Oversee preconstruction activities including budgeting, scheduling, and value engineering
  • Coordinate with architects, engineers, consultants, and internal construction teams
  • Monitor project pro formas, sources and uses, and development budgets
  • Support financing, lender coordination, and investor reporting
  • Track project milestones, risks, and overall financial performance
  • Ensure projects align with design, quality, and return expectations

The Successful Applicant

A successful Real Estate Development Manager should have:

  • Prior experience as a Real Estate Development Manager at an NYC real estate developer
  • Luxury condominium experience preferred (mid-rise to high-rise)
  • Strong understanding of underwriting, development finance, and project economics
  • Master's degree in Real Estate, Finance, or a related field preferred, or equivalent hands-on development experience
  • Excellent communication, analytical, and organizational skills
