The organization manages a diversified portfolio of real estate assets across major property types and continues to experience strong platform growth.This is a highly visible, hands-on role that will work closely with senior investment professionals, legal, tax, and external audit teams, while gaining broad exposure to real estate operations, reporting, and investments.Job DescriptionPrepare financial statements, footnotes, and MD&A for SEC reporting, including Forms 10-K, 10-Q, 8-K, and other filingsBuild and enhance accounting and reporting processes for new investment vehicles, including internal control design and implementationManage cash and oversee day-to-day accounting operations for public and private REITsCalculate and monitor underlying asset and portfolio performanceLead annual audits and quarterly reviews; prepare audit schedules, workpapers, and supporting documentationPrepare supplemental reporting and investor presentation materials for senior leadership and the boardAssist with valuation analysis, due diligence on new investments, and other special projectsProvide accounting and reporting support across multiple real estate strategies and fundsMPI does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, national origin, age, disability, veteran status, marital status, or based on an individual's status in any group or class protected by applicable federal, state or local law.
