The Receptionist will play a key role in providing essential support and ensuring smooth daily operations in the Manhattan office. This on-going temporary role with potential for longevity. This role requires strong organizational skills and a professional demeanor.
  • Must be able to work on-site Monday through Friday.
  • Hospitality experience is preferred.

Job Description

  • Greet and direct visitors in a professional and friendly manner.
  • Answer and manage incoming calls, directing them to the appropriate departments or individuals.
  • Maintain office supplies and ensure the reception area is organized and presentable.
  • Assist with scheduling meetings and conference room bookings.
  • Handle incoming and outgoing mail, courier services, and deliveries.
  • Provide administrative support to the Secretarial & Business Support department as needed.
  • Manage calendars and appointments for executives and team members.
  • Perform other general office and clerical duties as assigned.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Receptionist should have:

  • Completed Bachelors Degree is required.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
  • A professional and friendly demeanor with exceptional customer service skills.
  • Proficiency in using office software like Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information responsibly.
  • Must be able to work on-site Monday through Friday in Midtown.
  • Some travel within NYC & CT is needed.
