About Our Client

Our client is a technology-driven, customer-focused online grocery company headquartered in New York.

Job Description



  • Manage the pre-employment and onboarding process, including I-9s, background checks, references, and credentialing.


  • Schedule and coordinate new hire orientations, ensuring all compliance and documentation requirements are met.


  • Maintain HRIS and ATS systems, track applicant status, and compile employee records.


  • Communicate with candidates and internal teams with professionalism, empathy, and clarity, including senior leaders and cross-functional partners.


  • Prepare, audit, and organize new hire documentation (offer letters, payroll forms, company policy acknowledgments).


  • Coordinate with external vendors such as background check companies, IT, and business partners.


  • Support HR and recruiting projects and initiatives, including job fairs, hiring events, and workforce planning activities.


  • Monitor onboarding cases, identify issues, and provide guidance to ensure a smooth employee experience.


  • Occasionally work outside standard hours to support overnight operations or hiring events.

The Successful Applicant

The ideal candidate is empathetic, detail-oriented, and highly organized, with strong written and verbal communication skills. They have experience in HR onboarding, recruiting coordination, or related administrative roles and are proficient in Excel and other Microsoft Office tools.
