My client an innovative leader in system architecture for computing platforms, designing and manufacturing solutions for the military, industrial and telecom industries.

With over 50 years of experience, the company is headquartered in New England, and serves critical industries including aerospace, defense, telecommunications, HealthTech, and industrial sectors.This role offers the opportunity to travel throughout the Midwest with the opportunity for upward promotion throughout the company.

Job Description

Responsibilities include:

  • Territory Management: Take full ownership of the assigned territory, including all customer revenue, bookings, and gross margin.
  • Sales: Promote and sell the complete range of company solutions. Maintain existing customer relationships while driving deeper penetration within each account. Engage cross-functional teams within the customer's organization, including engineering, program management, purchasing, and operations.
  • Key/Strategic Account Management: Communicate customer requirements across all levels of the organization to improve success rates and customer satisfaction. Build strong partnerships between the company and its customers.
  • Forecast Ownership: Clearly communicate major customer forecasts and strategic insights to the organization to support closing key opportunities.
  • New Business Development: Identify and manage a portfolio of new business opportunities. Document all opportunities thoroughly in Salesforce, including key actions and required support. This includes promoting all products and services across the company's portfolio.

The Successful Applicant

  • Bachelor's degree (B.S.) from a four-year college or university required; technical degree preferred
  • 5 to 7 years of related experience and/or training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Position requires approximately 60-70% travel, including:
    • Frequent local day trips within the home region
    • Overnight and multi-day travel covering the entire assigned territory
  • Candidate must be willing and able to travel consistently to meet role demands
  • Position can be located anywhere in the U.S., preferably in the Midwest near a major airport
