Job Description

  • Engage in sales activities focusing on both existing and prospecting accounts at the T&D Segment, as well as other Power related segments
  • Research, map, identify and actively pursue both Capital and Operational projects at the designated region
  • Provide technical support to both customers and prospects to leverage their performance and solve issues related to different environmental threats
  • Utilize different sales techniques to overcome complex business demands from the marketplace
  • Execute daily activities towards set goals, primarily focusing on business creation and opportunity management leading to increased revenue
  • Provide detailed reports on monthly activities, as well as providing inputs on account progress throughout the year
  • Create both sustainable and recurrent revenue streams by building long-term relationships with key industry decision makers
  • Attend sales, trade, and product learning meetings as required
  • Participate at different industry related engineering forums, presenting technical papers, white papers, or other related technical activities to raise awareness and build authority

The Successful Applicant

  • Associate or bachelor's degree preferred and/or 5 years of experience in complex B2B sales (previous experience on selling to Investor-Owned Utilities is a plus)
  • Physically able to work in the field, install products, perform site inspections, and take on site measurements to provide detailed solutions
  • Adhere to principles of Value-Added Selling, as well as Total Cost of Ownership framework
  • Well established networking with key decision makers at the T&D segment
  • Basic knowledge of Power equipment, as well as Transformers, Switchgear, circuit-breakers, substations, control houses, and towers
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Suite of products (Office 365 package, Teams)
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, including experience on presenting through remote platforms such as Zoom, Teams, Google Meet and others
