Job Description

  • Develop and implement effective sales strategies
  • Lead nationwide sales team members to achieve sales targets
  • Drive and manage key headquarter calls to conventional retailers including Wakefern, Wegman's, HEB, Albertsons/Safeway, Publix, Mariano's, Hy-Vee, Meijer and others.
  • Establish productive and professional relationships with key personnel in assigned customer accounts
  • Negotiate and close agreements with large customers
  • Monitor and analyze performance metrics and suggest improvements
  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual sales forecasts
  • Provide timely and effective solutions aligned with clients' needs
  • Liaise with Marketing and Product Development departments to ensure brand consistency

The Successful Applicant

A successful 'Regional Sales Manager' should have:

  • Proven track record maintaining and winning new grocery business
  • Capable of effectively managing brokers and distributors
  • Proven ability to drive the sales process from plan to close
  • Strong business sense and industry expertise
  • Excellent mentoring, coaching, and people management skills
  • Outstanding communication skills
  • Preferably coming from food
  • Experience working with small to mid-sized companies.
